Degenfeld, Muscat LunelDegenfeld, Muscat Lunel

Degenfeld’s Muscat Lunel aka Sárgamuskotály from 2007 is a low-alcohol, melon-perfume summer wine whose bottle color, label design and its own color are perfectly matched ensuring the above sensation at first sight.

It’s very bright color is almost like silver. Intense fresh grass and fulsome pollen smells. Some bubbles are visible but hardly sensible on the palate. The tastes are in harmony with the smell adding some balm note and it’s very light and little bit sweet. It’s circular in a light way until its smooth acidity slowly disappears and so does its already small body.

Only later I can identify its most characteristic smells which are elderberry and gooseberry.

Serve chilled, below 12 Celsius.
