I’m approaching food with a layman’s expectations: eating well in a nice (or at least interesting) ambient whilst being well served but I also like to enjoy a meal with my business partner or with my wife and have my money well spent.
I am not a professional critic and I’m not a Shakespeare either. So insted of deep analysis of foods, you’ll find writings about impressions, moods, general quality and satisfaction and sometimes judgment based on common sense.
What I promise though is that I’m totally independent, I have more international experience in food than many Hungarian professional critics and I eat in restaurants 4-5 times a week on average. That’s quite lot considering that Budapest have no more than 30, OK maybe 40 good restaurants.
