Budapest is back

I’m sorry but more Bratislava and Wien photos will follow soon. But for now, this is another photo of a building you’ll certainly meet when you’re in Budapest: the Budapest Opera house, but from an angle most tourists never see. So enjoy.

‘56 monument

The monument - dedicated to the short-lived revolution against the communist regime in 1956 - was officially uncovered in 2005 in a scandalous ceremony. The much-criticized statue(?) was made by Emődi-Kiss Tamás, Papp Tamás, György Katalin, Horváth Csaba (i-ypszilon csoport). I think it’s cool.
