‘56 bullets

These iron balls represent bullets shot on the building of Budapest Ministry of Agriculture during the revolution in 1956. This is not a political statement by me, I was interested in taking a shot of these solely from an artistic point of view.

Budapest is back

I’m sorry but more Bratislava and Wien photos will follow soon. But for now, this is another photo of a building you’ll certainly meet when you’re in Budapest: the Budapest Opera house, but from an angle most tourists never see. So enjoy.

‘56 monument

The monument - dedicated to the short-lived revolution against the communist regime in 1956 - was officially uncovered in 2005 in a scandalous ceremony. The much-criticized statue(?) was made by Emődi-Kiss Tamás, Papp Tamás, György Katalin, Horváth Csaba (i-ypszilon csoport). I think it’s cool.
