Red Bull Air Race Budapest 2009

I ran into the qualification trainings yesterday on my way back home from work. I stopped to take some pictures and I captured the last turns of the pilots.

Parliament on the left, castle in the background and increased security after the disastrous events on the national day celebrations 3(?) years ago, then several people died during one of the largest storms of the past decades.

    Is this race held every year in Budapest ? Where/when is the 2010 race being held ?

    Hi Laurie,

    If there’s going to be a race in 2010 then it’ll probably be on the 20th of August, as in the past few years, which is a national holiday in Hungary.
