‘56 monument

The monument - dedicated to the short-lived revolution against the communist regime in 1956 - was officially uncovered in 2005 in a scandalous ceremony. The much-criticized statue(?) was made by EmÅ‘di-Kiss Tamás, Papp Tamás, György Katalin, Horváth Csaba (i-ypszilon csoport). I think it’s cool.

Located near Heros’ Square (HÅ‘sök Tere) on Dósza György street in Budapest (Pest side, actually), in front of the Erick Van Egeraat building cluster, is definitely worth visiting.
