This picture was taken in a villa in the Buda hills, built in the late XVIIIth century.
I saw this old timer car parking in front of Iguana restaurant in downtown Budapest. The engine’s sound was quite nice too.

I think this is the “legendary” Pannonia motorcycle produced during the heights of the socialist era. This item may be original or a replica - I would vote for the first although the engine block seems quite new. This is the house and the logo of the former state monopoly on Hercegprímás street, 5th district (downtown). The building is currently empty.

These 2 images were shot for the VFXY weekly theme “reflection”. I missed the deadline though, but I like these images. Because they’re so Austrian to me. This building is part of the Gasometer cluster’s complementary block in Wien.
The monument - dedicated to the short-lived revolution against the communist regime in 1956 - was officially uncovered in 2005 in a scandalous ceremony. The much-criticized statue(?) was made by Emődi-Kiss Tamás, Papp Tamás, György Katalin, Horváth Csaba (i-ypszilon csoport). I think it’s cool.

This old socialist building is ituated right by the ING / Deloitte HQs designed by architects of Erick Van Egeraat. The project has been one of the few cool architectural initiatives of Budapest.
