This amazing building is located right in front of Lánchíd (better known abroad as Chain Bridge) on the Pest side. I remember this having been an old, abandoned deep gray building before its privatization in the late 90s. Today it’s one of the most glamorous buildings in Budapest and the best hotel (Four Seasons Budapest, *****), with an excellent restaurant (Páva Kávéház), expectedly the first Michelin-start restaurant of Budapest (yep, we are still short of it). This post is dedicated to Helen (Dogeared), whom probably seen this building as described here. Whilst you won’t miss the building (it’s definitely located near a major tourist spot), but Helen’s right, if you have a chance to get it, do it and have a look, it’s really outstanding.
