If you want a decent coffee in downtown Budapest, you’ll have multiple choices. You can narrow your possibilities by good location, good service, bagels and fresh cakes, terrace, dog of the house, great building and there you are. If you’re American, you know the place already or you will get to. It’s the opposite side of the square from the US embassy. You’ll find many of your fellow citizens in there.Â

I appreciate your point of view. It makes me excited to visit the city in the spring. Thank you for your eye, it has been delightful. And I hope to visit the site more before my trip.
