Budapest has such an amazing and rich history, but haven't quite capitalised on that with tourists. When my wife and I were there in 2003, we managed to get around most of the key sights, but that was more down to my interest in history and pre-planning. It would have been useful to have a more structured guide to help us, as you see in Prague or Nurnberg. That said, Budapest is definitely one of my most favourite cities in the world and I can't wait to get back! You’re right.
